Exotic Oceans 2 Pack
We know it is a bit unusual to have a calendar full of marine life on our website, but, we know that some of you have Moms, Wives, Girlfriends, Co-workers, Daughters or Kids that may not be as interested in Girls and Guns (or just guns) as you are, and we know that many of you need some help with a gift for these folks.
We hope this saves you a trip to Target on Sunday December 17th, (or the 24th . . .) wandering around trying to remember if your Mom needs a new crock pot or if your Wife would really appreciate another scarf, or what to get for that gift exchange party at work. We are here to help.
How did we end up publishing a calendar full of sharks, whales and turtles?
We have a good friend who is an award winning underwater photographer- the kind of guy who can get up close for great shots of great white sharks and humpback whales and also has the eye for the smaller, interesting stuff in the ocean, like clown fish and sea horses. His name is Craig Dietrich, he learned photography in the Navy 30 years ago and now some of his shots can be found 5 foot-wide or bigger in offices, homes and galleries.
He asked us to help him publish a calendar, so we asked our graphic artists to give it a shot and we came up with the Exotic Oceans Calendar.
It is 13 months of gallery-quality images from locations around the world with a whole range of marine life. We also donate 10% to charities that support marine conservation. Also, (surprise here) it has a lot of trivia related to ocean exploration, preservation and scuba diving, like the launch date of the original Sea Hunt Series, the record setting exploration of the Marianas Trench by the Trieste submarine and World Wetlands Day, because we can't duck hunt without a place for ducks to live.
Anyway, it is done to the same high standards as our other calendars- the photographs are from all over the world, but like all of our other calendars, it is produced and printed in the U.S.A. We hope it helps check off a gift or two on your list.
